Attachment – Transition Plan

  1. General
    1. Transition project plan:
      1. Focuses on successfully:
        1. Transferring existing services from the existing managed service provider.
        2. Transferring documentation of design and configuration to the existing services.
        3. Handing over the administrative credentials for management of the service.
        4. Handing over outstanding issues and challenges for each service.
        5. Ensuring uninterrupted continuity of service during and after transition is completed.
        6. Ensuring software license are accounted for:
          1. In the case of perpectual lifetime license, the license information is recorded.
          2. In the case of subscription licenses, the license are either transferred or re-subscribed.
        7. Ensuring hardware warranty are accounted for:
          1. In the case of standard warranty, the serials are recorded.
          2. In the case of extended warranty, documentation of purchased extension are handed over.
        8. Updating any 3rd party provider the complete and non-expiring authorization for the Customer and 1Cyber to manage the subscribed services.
        9. Ensuring that the technical support team is equipped to provide support services.
      2. In the absence of receiving certain documentation, licenses or credentials rendering the inability to continue using the service:
        1. Alternative plans will be formulated and recommended to create a replacement service that meets or exceeds the current service being used.
        2. These alternative plans will be presented to the Customer and upon acceptance, it will be provisioned and charged as per Attachment “Consultancy and Enhancement”.
      3. The time-frame for transition:
        1. The transition start date will be the day that the service is accepted by Customer in writing to transition the service.
        2. The transition end date will be the transition start date + the days specified in the “Coverage and Service Levels” for each respective subscribed managed service as per Attachment “Maintenance Services” or Attachment “Hosting Services”.
